One audience.
Two signalling worlds.

Linear television was built on schedules: the break is planned upstream, and traffic and playout write the instruction that says where it is. Connected TV is built on decisions: an ad server has to know, at that exact second, that a break has started.

Convergence fails at that seam. The audience has already moved to the connected screen and the campaign already buys both paths — but the IP path frequently has no reliable trigger. The break exists. Nobody wrote it down.

Content decides. Not the rundown.

TALOS · EVENT INTELLIGENCE

A rundown is a forecast. On a match, a concert or a breaking news bulletin the director decides — and the picture changes before any schedule knows about it.

Live2FAST takes the picture as the source of truth. TALOS observes the stream that is already being served, recognises the visual event that marks the change of content, and derives the marker from what actually happened. The detection path is designed not to transcode or rewrite the underlying audio/video.

Packaging, SSAI and distribution stay where they are. They depend on each deployment's architecture, and they remain the partner's.

Every link in the chain waits for a marker. No link can assume it exists.

Production, traffic, playout, packaging, distribution and advertising each do a different job, and none of them owns end-to-end signalling. The causes below are unrelated to one another — but they produce a single operational outcome: a break that happens, and a programmatic layer that cannot see it.
